Ana has been riding since she was four years old, and was born into a family who love the sport. As a child, she often helped out, and experimented with different events, including dressage. But it was showjumping that she fell in love with. “I do it for the horses, for the feeling of winning and for the fact that there’s always room for improvement.”
By only 20 years old, Ana has already achieved fantastic results. In 2010 she won the young riders Spanish Championships and a Young Rider CSIO Grand Prix in Italy. This year she also achieved second place in a CSI** in St Sebastian. Ana has her sights set on the European Championships and she hopes one day to win a gold medal there.
Ana has two horses, Kassandrar and Ferrous, and she trains four times a week. “I have at least ten competitions in the next few months, so it’s a busy schedule!” As well as riding, Ana is currently studying Law in her hometown, Madrid.
