Originally established by passionate equestrian Beth Cross in 1992, the company is named after the American race horse Secretariat. A throwback to Beth’s childhood where she spent her younger days on a working thoroughbred farm in Pennsylvania.

The company debuted their first riding boot in 1993, which proved a success and started many riders’ love affair with the brand.
