Description

DioCal-D is a mineral feed with calcium lactate and vitamin D. The intended use is for short term support to lactating and pregnant bitches, in some cases also for young dogs while growing and to individuals while recovering from fractures or other skeletal afflictions. DioCal-D is fed to pregnant bitches from week 6 to week 8 of the pregnancy. The support should end 2 weeks before calculated birth. Lactating bitches should get DioCal-D during the first 2-4 weeks of nursing. DioCal-D can also be given in the daily feed if suspicion of low calcium status in the feed exist. DioCal-D should not be used for extended periods of time unless recommended by a veterinarian.
