Stable boots

Stable boots offer a gentle cooling effect for your horse after a strenuous exercise.

They can also help with sensitive skin issues. Stable boots are breathable and provide good ventilation without allowing excess moisture to reach the horse's leg. After a break due to injury, you can also use stable boots in the paddock if you want to protect the horse's legs for a little longer. Breathable materials prevent the legs from overheating.

For example, Back on Track has developed special stable boots to support injury recovery. These contain ceramic that reflects the horse's natural body heat, creating a kind of natural infrared therapy. Of course, you can find Back on Track boots in the Horze range.

Transport boots

A horse trailer and the transportation of your horse carry certain risks. Nevertheless, a journey in a horse trailer is sometimes unavoidable, whether you you're on your way to a show, taking your horse to a clinic or moving it to another stable.

When transporting your horse, it is best to always use travel boots. These are specifically designed for travelling in a trailer. They are padded and extend from the hoof to often beyond the carpal joint to offer your horse all-round protection.

When travelling to a show, you may want to pay special attention to the appearance of your horse. For this purpose, Eskadron developed travel boots that match the Eskadron travel rug and ensure a brilliant look for you and your horse. You can find the Eskadron transport boots in the Horze range.

Sometimes your horse might need horse boots in the stable in order to prevent injuries or support the healing process after an injury. If your horse tends to kick itself or injure itself against the stall wall, stable boots can be useful. There are special horse boots that are designed to be worn by the horse for a long time and are easy to put on.

Horse boots that are worn in the stable also have an inner lining that is very comfortable for the horse's leg. This is designed to prevent chafing and additional injuries.

If you want to transport your horse in a trailer, you should make sure that it has good leg protection to prevent injuries. Special travel boots are available for this purpose, which extend from the coronet band of the hoof over the hocks to the carpal joints. They are especially padded in order to protect the horse from bumpy rides.

Horse travel boots are available in short or long styles, so if your horse is not used to horse boots or you only ride short distances, the short styles may be sufficient. It is also a good idea to get your horse used to the travel boots in its familiar surroundings before setting off on a trip.
