Description

The design of the weymouth with a forwardly angled port and a smooth transition to the tapered lateral parts, offers the finest distribution of pressure on the tongue. The sense of touch is used in an optimal way and effects very precise.The weymouth bit is recommended for introducing a horse to a weymouth. The slanting mouthpiece increases the harmony between rider and horse and provides a confidently stepping forward to the weymouth.

Features:

  • Slightly arched and forward-angled with tongue relief, tapered transitions to the side parts
  • Light relief of the tongue center, reduced pressure on the tongue edges
  • Even pressure distribution across the entire tongue when reins are engaged
  • Suitable for riders new to the weymouth, sensitive horses, or introducing a horse to the double bridle
  • Increased poll pressure due to longer shanks, effect sets in slightly delayed compared to shorter cheeks
