These dressings are really good for dog surgery. My dog had a surgical wound under his stomach and the vet's bandages went up all the time or slid down to his hips. Furthermore, she became allergic to the vet's dressings and it made me try these dressings. They stay in place.
My horse had a scratch that developed cellulitis and since he is on 24/7 turnout I had to keep it protected. I used vetrap for the first couple days and decided to try the flex bandages. They worked really well and had a little bit more adhesive than the vetrap (although this made it a little more difficult to get off of the roll). I would probably buy some more during a sale, but with regular price and shipping it wouldn't be worth it.
In my opinion, adhesive bandages belong in every first aid kit and are therefore a must for every horse owner! The price-performance ratio is impeccable and the quality are neither better nor worse than the adhesive bandages you get otherwise.
I always have in reserve such self-adhesive bandages Finntack Pro. I use both to fix the usual bandage, and instead of padded jackets. Breathable, reliable and high quality. The price is affordable.
